Meet the Team

The TerraGenie team includes top professionals, with profound expertise in surveying, mapping, and GIS.
Our mission is to empower every field worker to operate independently—without relying on external services—professional mapping tasks without surveying proficiency, intuitively, fast, and efficient.

"My main goal is to make a positive impact on my surroundings—a legacy from my parents who fought for Israel’s founding, and from my grandparents who built their lives here during the Second and Third Aliyah." TerraGenie was built on these values. By chance, Dor Yalon and I joined forces to develop innovative tools that have transformed our clients' daily work. For me, the greatest reward is earning our clients' appreciation as they realize they can survey professionally and effortlessly—often in ways they never thought possible. That, to me, is fulfilling my mission.

Tal Hadas

Founder & a Partner

Dor founded TerraGenie in 2013. After 2.5 years of development, he partnered with Tal Hadas following a major solar energy project. Previously, Dor was Co-Founder and CTO of Icaros Geosystems, and Head of the GIS Department at Nesher Aerial Photography. He also led the development of the national GIS system at Israel’s Ministry of Housing. Dor has been active in the geospatial field since 1993 and holds a BA in Geography from Tel Aviv University.

Dor Yalon

Founder & CEO

Eran is responsible for sales and business development at TerraGenie. He brings many years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in sales and business development. Eran excels in identifying needs, understanding complex requirements, and building tailored solutions, as well as managing long-term B2B projects.

Eran Vered

International Sales Manager

Elad has led the development team at TerraGenie since 2017. With a background in software and hardware systems, 3D graphics, simulation, visual systems, databases, and GIS, he brings broad technical expertise. He is also a senior software lecturer at HackerU, where he teaches both new and experienced developers. Previously, Elad managed a startup called Point of Sale, and during his army service as an IDF officer, he developed various software tools.

Elad Lavi

Lead Developer

Roni joined us in 2023 after completing his Software Engineering degree. From day one, it was clear he’s a fast learner. He quickly took on complex projects that were successfully delivered, and the tools he developed are now used daily by both our clients and the TerraGenie team. When he's not coding at the office, Roni is either a dedicated gamer or creating unique software applications for his motorcycle.

Haola joined us in 2024 while completing her degree in Information Systems Engineering. She supports our clients with system design, implementation, and professional assistance in CAD environments. Growing up in Majdal Shams, where she was born, Haola always dreamed of working in high-tech and making a meaningful impact through technology.

Haola Abu Salah

Data Engineer & Customer Success

Whether it’s managing complex logistics, running online campaigns, or handling the company’s lead and meeting processes, Yair takes full control with great skill. Alongside this, he oversees billing and other tasks. His attention to detail and dedication to smooth operations are essential and exemplary. When Yair isn’t in the office, he’s a professional drummer, performing with various bands on stages both in Israel and internationally.

Yair Ben-Simon

Marketing & Administration

Gil is a certified surveyor, lives in Kfar Tavor, and is a father of two. He joined TerraGenie in 2025, taking charge of customer success management as well as system design and implementation for the company’s clients. Previously, Gil served as Chief Surveyor in the Engineering and Construction Division at the Ministry of Defense and worked as a certified surveyor in a private firm. In his free time, Gil enjoys tennis and traveling both in Israel and abroad.
